About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in California. I earned my B.A. from the UC San Diego and my Masters and Ph.D. from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology in Palo Alto (now Palo Alto University). I have worked with children and families since 1996 at many child and family clinics around the Bay Area and in Portland, Oregon.

Prior to starting my private practice, I worked with emotionally and behaviorally disturbed children and adolescents in schools, prisons, and their own homes. I also worked extensively with children in the foster care system.

I believe it is vitally important that parents play an active role in their child's treatment so that gains made in therapy will be maintained in the rest of the child's life. It is often important to include parents in their child’s treatment in order to rebuild a healthier relationship between parent and child.

I am an active member of the Santa Clara County Psychological Association (SCCPA) and co-chair of the SCCPA Forensic Committee. Since 2012, I have been the Santa Clara County Clinical Director for A Home Within, a nonprofit organization that provides pro bono therapy for current and former foster youth. From 2007-2012 I was an assistant professor at Palo Alto University, teaching Research Methods and Statistics.
